Marakesh in jacksonville is probably one of the few restaurants in the area where you can get fresh delicious food. The flavors are incredibly authentic and the menu is perfect for any palette. Portion sizes are decent! All of the waitresses at Marakesh seem to have been working here for a long time so you can expect great, knowledgeable service from the ladies. The ambiance isn't the best, it's pretty dim inside but the music isn't too loud or annoying.

Seriously good Mediterranean food. The cute grape leaves or dolmas were excellent. The hummus was smooth and creamy like we like it. Oh and you can get gyros all day long and those were very tasty!

Warm ambience. Love the food here. Taste very authentic with a variety of options. Service was quick and friendly even though it was within an hour of closing. Better than some other Mediterranean restaurants in bigger cities. Safe to say I was impressed. Great place!

To be honest I was in a bad mood when I came into the restaurant. I was dealing with a lot of stuff. I foolishly ordered a very spicy dish that was not for me. They took it back without question and then the owner or manager brought out a lamb dish for me and politely insisted I eat. I tried to refuse, saying I was too stressed to eat but he was passionate and confident that I would enjoy it. So I took a bite. Wow. It turned my entire day around and i ate every bite. It was delicious. I have heard good things about this restaurant from people and they were absolutely right. The big thing is you can tell the staff likes their jobs and are passionate about their food and their restaurant. The decor is really cool the tables have three benches instead of the traditional two which is cool The music is fun and not too loud and the food was FAST and DELICIOUS. Will be back again. Thank you for making my day better! If you are stressed they will fix you too.

Tonight I had my first dinner here. They were very busy but I didn't mind the wait. The food is just SO good. Their tahini and tzatziki are some of the best that I ever had. I had the 3 meat combo with salmon, lamb and steak. I had double Greek salad instead of rice and it was perfect! I love the ambiance of the place and it's really cool at dinner with all the Turkish lighting. Definitely one of the top 2 best restaurants in Jacksonville.

We ordered pick up. It was right on time. The food was absolutely delicious. Tasted very fresh. It was nice to have something out of the ordinary. The hummus was delicious. That tabouli was great. The pita bread was delicious. The falafel was perfect. We had falafel and hummus combo, we had the lamb and beef Shawarma. The lamb was really dry, but it had great flavor and the salad was delicious with the tahini, we also had the falafel sandwich which had great flavor. However, we ordered double rice and we only got a single serving . Everything was delicious. We would definitely be back. We've been there a few times now. It's nice to have Turkish Mediterranean food as an option here.

Was very hungry on a late Saturday afternoon. Lots of parking in the lot. We were easily able to get a seat. The inside is nice with some fun decor! It was a lot bigger inside than I thought. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and she made some good recommendations! My mom and I split the appetizer platter. It was nice to try multiple different things! We liked them all and they went well together. We got hummus, falafel, tabouleh salad, and another appetizer. All were great! Falafel very crispy. We then split the lunch two meat platter with chicken and shawarma. Chicken was so delicious and juicy! Great seasoning. Rice and salad that came with it were great. I wish the portions were a little bigger. But food was delicious! Prices were average. About ~$32 for appetizer and lunch meal. We left very content!

Absolutely love this place! Was here years ago and it's still amazing!! Food is absolutely fantastic and the service is amazing! Super nice and friendly place to dine. Decor is great and the overall establishment is very well put together! Highly recommend!

I could eat here every day of the week, happily. Great beer selection, amazing food, and a good price!! My friend and I ate everything we could, and still had leftovers to eat the next day. I ordered the 3 meat platter (chicken, steak, lamb) and all were cooked perfectly. The rice was flavorful, the hummus was excellent, the falafel...so so good. Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm not at Lejeune for a long time, just a...good? time, so I'll be back. 14/10 - go now
